We called for recommendations, we crosschecked and did some internal voodoo and here they are our new SAP Mentors. Don't forget to check out the list of all SAP Mentors Lists A-J K-Z.

I often get asked how we select SAP Mentors. We ask the community for suggestions in a blog. You chances are higher if you have a lot of recommendations especially if it came from a fellow SAP Mentor. You should be an expert in an product or service of SAP and you have a proven record of community engagement. That doesn't mean on SAP Community Network exclusively, it can be in your local user group, or with other tech communities, where you bring your SAP knowledge to the plate.

Here are some examples: Anne Kathrine Petterøe showed community spirit by traveling 5 hours to come to a SAP Community meet in Walldorf earlier this year. She is an active blogger and a key member in the ESME project collaborating with lots of other SAP Mentors there.

Dave Rathbunis the founder of BOB the Business Objects Board, therefore knows about community first hand and was a great asset during TechEd in Las Vegas this year. Check out his blogs: http://www.dagira.com/ scroll down for some excellent posts from Community Day and Clubhouse. We are really happy, that we have another SAP Mentor from the Business Objects side.

Dipankar Saha got excellent recommendations from the community regarding his solid work in the area of ESOA, Composite Applications and SAP MII.

Graham Robinson as well was instrumental for the success of the Community Day at Mastering SAP Technology conference in Australia. He came highly recommended by Thomas Jung which as a lot of weight.

We are so happy to have our first SAP Mentor for the greater China area https://weblogs.sdn.sap.comcs/blank/edit/pub/u/251904915 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] came also with great credentials from the region. His focus area is Human Capital Management (HCM) and ERP.

marcelo.ramos/blog was a great addition to the TechEd in Las Vegas this year. He is our first SAP Mentor from Brazil and beyond his areas of expertise within SAP:
ABAP Development, ABAP Objects, Visual Composer and Corporate Social Responsibility, he is engaged in helping fellow Brazilians to get out of poverty.

markus.doehr2 is a trouper in the MaxDB forums as well as in the other areas of his expertise: Operating systems (*nix, Windows), Installation/Upgrade, Basis Virtualization technologies (internal consultant)

Susan Kohan a fellow SAP Mentor had the following to say about mike.pokraka/blog: ...Unlike many consultants, Mike is always willing (eager even!) to share his expertise.  His sessions at ASUG conferences are always packed with real, practical knowledge, and attendees have benefited greatly from his expertise ... These are the kind of qualities that we are looking for in an SAP Mentor. Susan wasn't the only one praising Mike.

I don't think that there are many SAP contributors that can point to a /thread/902652 [original link is broken] with 17 post at last count. praveenkumar.gudapati/blog has surly earned his place in small circle of SAP Mentors.

There is no one who got more community nominations than for https://weblogs.sdn.sap.comcs/blank/edit/pub/u/251928965 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]. I am especially grateful as his topic Business One wasn't represented in the SAP Mentor initiative yet.

Last but for sure not least of the new SAP Mentors is Uwe Schieferstein. This is what Graham Robinson wrote about his work: Uwe is highly knowledgeable on ABAP topics. He is very active in the forums. His answers are always appropriate, well constructed and to the point. He has over 8000 forum points.

Please welcome these new additions to the SAP Mentor initiative.
