Last night, I have many late nights these days as we prepare for SAP TechEd, I’ve also not decided if I should be happy about Marcelo and Abesh creating count down timers or not it sometimes feels like a time bomb waiting to go off. So I see I have 11 days before Vegas starts which means 10 days before Community Day hence I need to get stuff done!

But I’ve completely gone off topic, sort of kind of here but it’s all related. Last night as I was scouring over numbers, notes and everything else I realized that I can easily add another 35 slots onto the already 22 on the list. Which means if you want to come to the RIA Hacker Night you just need to add your name to this list!

Trust me you don’t want to miss this, whether your a coder, engineer, designer, business process specialist or even someone who just wants to see what the newest and coolest from SAP and Adobe is then you need to be there!

Coghead will be showing some cool stuff and there to show you more about their service, RedMonk will be there to give you a chance to better understand the broader RIA ecosystem and some of the most active community members in the space will be there to share the what and how of what they do!

This happens in the SAP Community Clubhouse on September 10th at 7:00pm until whenever (it’s Vegas!) the beer (wine too) and food are on us although it will turn into a cash bar at some point in the evening – that way if you don’t make it to your sessions the next morning it was your wallet’s fault not mine 🙂

The effort we put in is actually to make sure that all of the attendees find value in what they are spending their time on. For me my job does not depend on the event, I rather think the event is a perfect place for the community take full advantage of the opportunities presented to them by SAP!

The RIA Hacker Night for example is a complete “side” topic to the normal TechEd and takes place in the evening, it’s the 2nd year we’ll be doing it and last year the value was very obvious to those who attended.

The TechEd team does about 500% more than I do to ensure that the event is always better than the year before, the real credit for all goes to them!
