My apologies to everyone, i recently had to take some time off due to a personal matter, but I’m going to attempt to make up for it with a months worth of content and posts….
This will probably be the first in a flurry of posts, and rather than attempt to organize them in any logical fashion, i’m just going to fire away.
So lets talk about Tech-Ed first, I’m very excited about Tom Jung’s and Dan McWeeney’s presentations, which together will show some new and exciting ways in which Flex is integrated into WebDynpro. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I would definitely try to catch both preso’s, especially if you’ll be attending the Adobe sponsored Community Day.
For anyone interested in optimizing their Flex applications, or using more advanced messaging features, be sure to check out my preso reviewing Adobe’s Data Services, including the free, open source product, Blaze. I”m still working on my samples, I’m hoping to show an AIR app as well as a Flex app using Data Services.
Our traditional nerd-fest RIA Hacker night has grown since last year and has now developed into a full blown event. My good friend Matthias Zeller came up with some designs for our T-Shirts, and they’re extremely cool this year, in fact they’re so cool I would venture to say even a jaded conference veteran like myself might keep it around or perhaps even wear it occasionally. For any fans of Asian pop culture, or anyone familiar with small independent magazines, it might seem familiar. (hint, both matthias and myself have stickers on our laptops. another hint, the image itself is one part of the name…)
I think we agreed on a blue color for the shirts….
Stay tuned, hopefully by tommorow morning west coast time, I’ll be posting another link to something pretty handy that you might want to download…
