This session will give the audience an insight of different approaches for enabling the services from the enterprise applications using the SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment (SAP NetWeaver CE) and Enterprise Services Repository (ES Repository).

SAP has delivered the ES Repository in SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (SAP NetWeaver PI) 7.1 and SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 as a service modeling tool. This session will be focused on the following approaches:

• Inside-Out
In this approach, the business logic (service) already available in the system will be exposed to the external world as service (Web/enterprise service).

• Outside-In
In this approach, if there is no business logic (service) in the system, you can create the service model and implement the business logic in the appropriate backend system (ABAP/Java), based on your requirements.

This session also covers how to configure the Web services and clients using new SOA Manager.
