A year after the last Visual Composer survey at SDN, we are closing the second year of Visual Composer SDN Community with more than 500 customers and lots of productive and successful projects.
During the last year we have continued to develop Visual Composer 7.0 and have just released a major runtime upgrade (Flex2). In addition, in December 2007, we introduced the new version of Visual Composer which is part of the new SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment (CE). This version presents major improvements that answer most of the Visual Composer 7.0 pain points you raised in the last survey. (Among them: lifecycle management support; complex data structure support, Web Dynpro HTML and Flex runtimes). In the next release of Visual Composer, we’ll also provide another access point to Visual Composer from the NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS), together with the option to embed Web Dynpro components and extend the Visual Composer application UI.
