  • Permalink greentown  12 hours 46 minutes ago
  • And last but not least, “IM on steriods”
  • Permalink greentown  12 hours 49 minutes ago
  • Another carbon impact application meets Facebook, butpretty creative with all the surrounding services. I think this is number 5.
  • Permalink greentown  12 hours 54 minutes ago
  • Major props for Xcelsius-webservice-NetWeaver-Facebook-PHP thing

Final notes

See, some copy and paste and twitter writes the blog post for you 😉

Of course just when I wanted to save it, my browser froze on me 🙁 I was so mad that I closed the computer and only this morning started again. Was the course of letting others write this post?

My Twitter window was still open, but when I selected ‘Older’ posts, it didn’t take into account the time that had passed since. So I had to go back and back. I got until ‘and the winners are’ about 11 hours ago, but then Twitter wouldn’t let me go further back. Was really eerie: Twitter has a stream of conscious memory of 11 hours. I am sure they cut that for performance reasons.

Was a great event. So happy that the streaming worked out, had many occasions at Future Salons, where we were streaming, but didn’t get out of the firewall settings of SAP. Ustream was great, will use it for the Salons from now on too.

Thanks everyone for being part of it.

When Twitter said that it was micro blogging…They really mean it -:D

Another thanks for making that available to us all.  It was really enjoyable to “be present” remotely.
As for microblogging, I have been frustrated by Twitter for the last 24 hours, although I’m a big fan.  Absolutely no ability to work with the PC web version from a contribution perspective and Twirl borked as well 🙁
It wouldn’t even take my @eventtrack start* so I couldn’t be part of the event conversation stream (though I could view what others were saying).  I wound up commenting on your blog and posting the results of the judges there but I loved reading the comments as they came in on twitter from all our friends around the globe.  I was triply pleased that all winners had a “green theme”.  I personally loved the carpooling idea and understood that folks can go to facebook and really start using some of this stuff.  A big bravo to you.

Very frustrating at the moment, eventtrack even implemented a way to bypass the services suffering problems 😉

@Mark greentown I will give you a hint – he sits in your office area 😉

More people to add to my following list!

I did some tweeting through the demo jam as well, though nothing too insightful (I was mostly wondering, after the hot walk over from building 3, if any teams would bribe us with an early cold beer).

To the competitors: Great demos – I really enjoyed the Demo Jam this year.  But I’m glad I didn’t have to make the decision on the winners!

That was a cool way to write a blog – have twitter (and its many users) do it for you.  Well done. Congrats to all the participants, and especially to the winners.

    Regards,
    Mark Yolton
