The Demo Jam of the SAP Developer Challenge 2008 is less than 4 hours away. It starts at 4:30 PST. For your viewing pleasure we are webcasting it via Point your favorite browser to the following address: SAP Developer Challenge Demo Jam 2008

By the way you can thank SAP Mentor Darren Hague for this livecast. When he heard about the event last Thursday he twittered:

dhague                                                     dhague                           Icon_red_lock                                                 @finnern Will the demo jam be livecast with video?                                                                                   04:36 PM June 05, 2008                              from web               in reply to finnern

I checked with the powers to be and we got the green light later in the week. Super stoked about it.

I have followed the teams over the last days and they came up with some really cool stuff. Can’t wait to see how they perform under the demo jam pressure of 6 minutes no PowerPoint demo.

As a teaser here is a little video that was created from the footage taken in the last three days:

See you all later in he chat. I recommend SAP employees in Palo Alto to bring their laptops to the cafeteria in building D too, so that you can be part of the chat and Twitter fun too. Not that there will be enough excitment in the room.

P.S. An advantage of this Developer Challenge is, that I finally write Challenge with two e instead of two a or is it two es and two as? 😉

I’m very impressed by the quality of the live stream of the event.  I’m sitting here in my home in Indiana and it wasn’t as good as being there.

      I meant to say:

Live streaming with chat & Twitter back-channels really works. Thanks again for making this a truly global event to watch.
