A new whitepaper describes the basic concepts of Enterprise Information Management (EIM) and enterprise SOA, and outlines the interaction models of both. Generally, in such interaction EIM provides the information layer covering both structured and unstructured data, and at the same time ensures that this data can be easily consumed in a given business context within an enterprise SOA. The result must be the enabling of flexible, information-rich end-to-end processes.
