During the SAP Process Industry (PI) Partner Ecosystem Conference of 2007, an intrepid team from SAP TV, led by Siddarth Rabindran of Partner Marketing, captured interviews with a host of Industry Value Network (IVN) Community stakeholders.

It features incisive observations from key IVN partners, including IBM, Logica, Technidata, KSS, as well as several SAP internal IVN strategists.

While the video is ostensibly a marketing vehicle for customer-focused ecosystems dedicated to the Chemicals and Oil&Gas sectors, it also demonstrates the collective clarity of purpose inherent in these communities, where giants of the software sector, such as IBM can cooperate with SAP and strategic niche vendors like KSS and Technidata to address specific customer needs.

The SAP PI Partner Conference itself was tremendously enhanced, due in large part to the inclusion of several IVN summit meetings. And of course, as you can see by the content, the two summits that facilitated this particular video compilation covered the IVNs for Chemicals and Oil&Gas respectively.

Collective expertise and industry knowledge are trademarks of the IVN initiatives. And these considerable resources are pivotal to the communities’ ongoing efforts to augment industry thought leadership, reduce TCO, and increase ROI for the benefit of all customers.
