SAPPHIRE 2008 in Orlando is just around the corner. Every year, SAP showcases innovations and trends in various business areas, focusing on dialogue with customers, and again ASUG is being held in parallel in the same location. More information regarding the ASUG can be found on their website http://www.asug.com/.
In the procurement arena, SAPPHIRE is the opportunity to present the Business Suite including SRM and to discuss in detail the trends to be expected for the Q4 release of the Business Suite including SRM 7.0. The Business Suite release allows an even tighter integration of the processes in particular in the services and contract management areas. The new E-Sourcing and CLM releases are also products that we expect to be released into ramp-up early in the third quarter of this year. We’re going to be covering the events with a small series of blogs from the start of SAPPHIRE.
So if you’re not able to attend in person, the blogs will keep you up-to-date on the latest developments and will also enable you to provide valuable and welcome feedback!
The series kicks off on Sunday, May 4th, with Rolf Weiland’s take on value scenarios. We’ll cover the events with daily live blogs from ASUG by Mike Jud and contributions from David Marchand, Florian Seebauer, Thomas Arends, and Gerald Schehl on Procurement and Value Added solutions in the suite.
We hope you enjoy our coverage and look forward to hearing your thoughts!
