For the Sales Order it is possible to print out either the item code or the alternative catalogue number. This can be decided through a setting in the print preferences.
‘Administration -> System initialisation -> Print Preferences -> Per Document tab -> Print Mfr Catalogue No instead of Item Number’
Checking the ‘Print Mfr Catalogue No instead of Item Number’ box will only print the Alternative catalogue number. If the item has no alternative catalogue number then the Item Number will not be printed.
If the box ‘Print Mfr Catalogue No instead of Item Number’ is not checked and the user used ‘Display Catalogue Number’ in the Form Settings - Sales Order, the catalogue number will be displayed and the Item Code will not be displayed in the print out.
If ‘Display catalogue number’ is not selected in the Form Settings then, the item number will be printed.
