As a rule, URLs may be used in SAP Business One fields, including user-defined fields (udf). Ascertain that the path to ‘Attachments' is defined under:
Administration -> System Initialisation -> General Settings -> Tab Path -> ‘Attachments Folder'
In this example, a URL is linked to the header area of a Business Partner.
Create a udf on header level of the business partner master data:
The field data of this udf should specify the ‘Type' as ‘General' & the ‘Structure' as ‘Link':
Go to the Business Partner Master Data & make the udfs visible:
Double-click in the field & this window opens, copy the URL & paste it into the ‘File Name' field:
This URL is now copied into the udf:
Double-clicking on the URL will open the website:
