In this podcast, “Wikis for Dummies” and “SAP NetWeaver for Dummies” author Dan Woods, and Global Head of the Business Process Expert Community, Marco ten Vaanholt, talk about how they are helping SAP’s Business Process Expert Community collect best practices from business and IT practitioners into a wiki and a new book that will help business process experts master critical challenges. According to Dan, there are so many people working and sharing knowledge about the BPX role in the community that they decided to gather that knowledge, create a book that captures it, and then use the community and select experts to help form a story, to enable people to accelerate their understanding of how to be a competent BPXer.

      Hi Dick,
The book is not open to the community for collaboration just yet, other than to a few select folks like yourself. This is really just a preview of what’s coming. Once the book is open for collaboration in general, there will be another announcement and an invitation to the community to participate.
      Regards,
      Audrey

This podcast informs about the Community Book project. The Communit Book will be open for collaboration to the whole community by the end of this month. Stay tuned for the annoucement by Audrey which will be featured the BPX newsletter, as well as on the community site. The podcast is good to explain the project, which I think is very cool!

    Richard,

The book will be open for community input from 4/25 to 5/31. At that point, the wiki will be where people can comment on the book and we will be looking for people to send us stories.

If anyone has some ideas they want to share right now they should feel free to send me email at dwoods@EvolvedMedia.com.
