Autocomplete when editing Formulas

Crystal Reports AutocompleteYou probably have noticed now that in Crystal Reports 2008 and Crystal Reports XI Release 2, when you are editing a formula and start to type in a field object name by first typing the open brace, “{” to indicate a field name, a popup menu opens which continually narrows down its items as you type or allows you to select an item by using the up/down arrow keys or by using the mouse to click on an item. You can also use Autocomplete for other objects other than field names, such as function names. To initiate Autocomplete, holding down the “Ctrl” key while you click the space bar. Alternatively you can also first type the first few letters of a fuction name and then click Ctrl-Space.
