Duplicate Crystal Reports Formulas

When writing a report, often times you will need to create multiple formulas that vary slightly in content. To easily duplicate a Formula field, right click on a formula in the Field Explorer and choose the "Duplicate" option. There is also a duplicate button on the Field Explorer tool bar. Performing this action will create an identical copy of the object with a temporary name. To rename the object, with the object highlighted, either select the "rename" option on the toolbar or press "F2".

This functionality also works for other Field objects as well such as:
Formula Fields
SQL Expression Fields
Running Totals

This "Duplicate" feature is available in both Crystal Reports 2008 and Crystal Reports XI Release 2.
