Sharing Strategies for Compliance in Life Sciences

Dear BPXers,

I would like to draw your attention on the following presentation that Dr. Christoph Roller gave these days at the SAP GRC Conference in Orlando about „Strategies and SAP compliance solutions for life sciences compliance”.

Compliance is one of the very foundational topics for Life Sciences which must be institutionalized within a Life Sciences company to reinforce public trust and fulfill the regulations. Dr. Christoph Roller showcase in his presentation the opportunity to delve into the range of solutions SAP offers to support governance, risk, and compliance in the life science industry. You are invited to gain a comprehensive understanding of how SAP solutions for GRC can be used to tighten compliance with regulations like the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, occupational health laws, export and customs regulations, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and international good manufacturing practice regulations. You can learn how to establish a strategic and unified framework for addressing your company’s evolving GRC needs. Please, step through real-world examples of how other customers have leveraged life sciences solutions for GRC and lowered the cost of compliance while improving their long-term compliance efforts.

Furthermore, I would like to announce that we will publish a „new” Key Topic for Life Sciences on our BPX Industry page for „U.S. FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11 Assessments” of various SAP products and applications, soon. As a first example I would like to draw your attention on the „U.S. FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11 Assessment of SAP NetWeaver“. The topic „Part 11” itself is not new but nevertheless always of interest, so we would like to invite you to return to this page and discover more.

  • Attending the GRC conference that you describe.  If you or others in the BPX community would like me specifically to be the eyes and ears of some of these sessions realtime (looking at the agenda link you supplied) let me know.  I’m attending a session presently called: Optimizing Business Process with SAP GRC Process Control.  Hopefully, I can interface with a number of the knowledge experts attending and presenting and drive GRC content back into our community pages.  And thanks for surfacing the Life Science compliance session contents.
I can be reached on twitter: user: marilynpratt and it is possible to start an event using eventtracker in twitter to follow GRC2008 (as the conference is called)
    • Thanks, Marilyn, for this offering. I would definitely recomment to meet Christoph. I will take care to bring you both in contact. Maybe you can plan something in advance.
