During the past few conferences (ASUG Annual conference / Sapphire/TechEd and a few others), we have been asking for feedback from participants on the list of topics that you would like to see ASUG work on in terms of setting up webcasts and other educational media. Introduction to XI / PI and roadmap

Webcast attendees will:

* Learn some of the key enhancements delivered with the new release of SAP NetWeaver Process Integration 7.1 based upon the SAP Business Process Platform
* Have a look at the roadmap and how the product will evolve in the next three years

Speaker – Prasad Illapani, SAP Labs LLC

Prasad Illapani works in Netweaver Integration PM/RIG team at SAP Labs LLC. He focuses in development and systems areas of Process Integration (eSOA middleware). He is a regular speaker at SAP TechEd, WIS, SDN conferences and works closely with SAP Product Definition/Management, Development, Sales, and Field Service teams in PI areas. He also conducts PI training classes/workshops for partners, customers, and consultants. Prasad holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

      Bill Reeves, SEEBURGER, Inc.
      Yves Bernier, Mitel Corporation

      Bill Reeves is the VP of Marketing and Strategy for SEEBURGER, Inc. He is responsible for strategic product management, positioning, promotion, and market development for SEEBURGER’s business integration platform. Prior to joining SEEBURGER, Bill held several executive level positions within the supply chain industry as well as the credit card industry. The companies Bill has worked with include Inovis, NOVA (US Bank), and Delta Air Lines. Bill holds an MBA from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Georgia.

      Yves Bernier is a Senior SAP developer with about 8 years of SAP experience. He has worked on multiple SAP implementations and XI integrations and manages the SAP Development and EDI team for Mitel Corporation.

    Please join the ASUG Integration Technologies and E-Business SIG for the XI/PI Implementation Strategy Webcast.

    Many of the SAP Customers considering XI/PI as Integration and SOA enabling Platform will need best practices and proven implementation strategy. This Webcast will focus on those key aspects such as: Planning the NetWeaver Landscape, Development Accelerators and 3rd party adapters/tools, Leveraging SAP provided XI/PI Content along with Industry Standards, Migration from existing Middleware, Required skills, and Team Composition. LSI Logic will cover some of these topics based on their experience on XI/PI implementation together with Intelligroup.
