Case Study: How Colgate-Palmolive is transitioning from SAP CRM Mobile Sales to SAP CRM Online Sales

Hear how Colgate-Palmolive is leveraging its simple recipe for easing out-of-the-box implementations to transition from using SAP CRM for mobile sales to online sales.

  • Understand the benefits the company wants to achieve with the transition, including keeping the same functionality and performance, reducing IT resources, accelerating rollouts, and removing sales software from its PCs.
  • See how the company overcame its toughest challenges during the transition including iViews that did not always work out-of-the-box and the problem of delivering access to its teams in Europe, Latin America, and Canada.
  • Learn how the company successfully rolls its SAP implementations directly out-of-the-box on a short timeline and with a small consulting budget.
  • Get insights for feasibility studies so you can launch similar projects at your company.
  • Step through its process for offline reporting using SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) 7.0.

Linda, I wish I had attended this years CRM conference just for your presentation. We are evaluating exactly this approach with a couple of our customers and will be starting a Business Case study for a move from SAP CRM Mobile to CRM Online during the upgrade to CRM 2007 later this year. I look forward to any and all ideas you will be willing to share on this blog.
