In previous editions of CRM, a Buying Centre (Contacts, Contact Functions, and Contact Relationships) was only available within an Opportunity.
CRM 2007 now lets users create, modify, and save Buying Centres directly to an Account (can also be copied to and Account from an existing Buying Centre in an Opportunity).
The Buying Centre can then be uploaded directly to an Opportunity to save time and ensure that Buying Centre nuances are considered in the sales cycle.
