I am very excited about next week. One of our latest BPX community additions, the CRM BPX community is having one of their largest meetups at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas.  CRM 2008 is one of those events that bring people together to understand how to use, evaluate, deploy, and support SAP CRM solutions.

I think a lot has changed since SAP launched the latest version of SAP CRM last year… have you seen the cool user friendly new user interface… ( just look at the vlogs by some of the product managaers on our  BPX community !) SAP is not just the ERP and financials solution company anymore. I think people and companies should really start consider SAP.  I can put it into context. I used to work for Oracle CRM product management organization (about 5 years ), as well as my product mgt teams at Yahoo used Siebel so I think I have seen my fair share of CRM solutions. At my old companies I worked for we never really considered SAP CRM as an option. In the past it was often really klunky and in terms of feature/function not really considered an option.

I think we have reached a point with the new release that notion totally has changed. Our CRM suite should be one the considerations to reduce costs, improve relationships, optimize your service organization, support your sales organizations and strreamline your marketing operations.

Next week attendees, and hopefully a lot of new and resident BPX members will learn about case studies from leading SAP customers; best practices for implementing, upgrading or integrating SAP CRM; comprehensive updates on SAP CRM 2007 presented by SAP product management; strategies and techniques to improve the use of the CRM suite, meet with BPX community experts. I will be there as well to get a taste of the event and meet with BPX members. We have also a list of customers who have signed up and will provide feedback in blogs about their experiences at the event ( including me ! )

See you all there !
