Web Services SDK
The second installment of the Getting Started with the Web Services SDK series is now available on Diamond:

Getting Started with the Web Services SDK Part II: Installation and Configuration

This installment provides an overview of some of the key technologies used with our WS SDK. It also reviews the steps required to install and configure the WS SDK provider and consumer applications.

I also included a section to run some samples: Let’s Run a Sample!. Right now, there are 3 Java Consumer API samples:

  • java_ws_be115_add_user

This sample demonstrates how to add a new user with a secEnterprise alias to the Enterprise system.

  • java_ws_be115_display_inbox_objects

This sample demonstrates how to retrieve the list of objects within an Enterprise users’ Inbox.

  • java_ws_be115_schedule_crystal_report_now

This sample demonstrates how to schedule a Crystal Report to run now.

I’ll be adding the .NET Consumer API equivalent samples in the next week, so stay tuned!
