My name is Yael Koren Shakowitzki, and I’m glad to be the newest member of the SDN/BPX collaboration team.

I’ve been working for the past seven years as a software and professional-services senior engineer, mainly in the web environment, until realizing that I’m much more interested in the interpersonal side of the business and development processes.

The concept of communities, collaboration and knowledge-sharing over the internet has been fascinating me since the first dial-up connection I managed to establish around the late 90s, and continues these days in the Web 2.0 generation.

Over the last weeks I’ve managed to become a little familiar with this great (in terms of both size and quality) community, and I’m really proud to be a part of it.

My main focus will be the BPX community, but I’m sure we will also meet in the SDN area from time to time.

A few trivia facts: I’m a singer, I’m mad about good books, my dream vacation includes a golden beach and a turquoise sea and I believe my two cats are geniuses.

Welcome – I’ve seen your name on Wiki spaces so it’s good to know you better.

We have 3 cats — one dumber than the next.

I would guess one of your cats’ name is Heisenberg, but I could not be certain ๐Ÿ˜‰
