System architect is one of the leading tools available for enterprise architects. This tool enable enterprise architects to document instances of all of the enterprise domain's building blocks and relations between the building blocks instances.
EA tools not just enable you to capture all of your work outcomes it also let you to slice and dice them in different ways that enable you to get insights out of your work or to run any Impact analysis or "What-If" scenarios, which are essential part of EA work.
Due to the fact that enterprises are different (as well as people are different), EA tools provide different mechanisms that enable the architect to adjust tools to his enterprise needs.
