Being a SAP Mentor I feel in the need to follow the path that my friends and colleage mentors Ignacio Hernández and Gregor Wolf trace in their respective blogs SAP Community Day Buenos Aires – April 11, 2008 and SAP Community Day London – April 2008.

The idea is to have a Community Day in Lima, Perú.

What is Community Day?

This year, I was lucky enough to attend SAP TechEd 2007 in Las Vegas, and of course I attend the Community Day. Basically, it was a day to get together with all friends, meet new people, attend sessions and specially have fun.

That’s what we want (Me, SAP and SDN), for Community Day Lima…The idea is to get together a Saturday of June from 8:00 to 20:00, in that time, present sessions with a maximum length of half an hour.

I got myself, two session already prepared.

  • SDN and BPX
  • Scripting Languages and SAP

So, please fill this form and put your proposed sessions, the best one will be choosed and presented that day.

What we need?

Well, we need of course a lot of participation and the support of Cosultant companies and companies. This because we need a place to meet, food, drinks and some more stuff. Don’t see this as a expense…See this is an a investment, because even when we got some degree of support from SAP and the SDN, this is no more than a local event (And it’s to keep being local if we don’t get enough participation).

For addition info, please look at the WIKI.

I’m almost crying because of your comment…Tears of joy they called them -:) It would be awesome that you could make it to Lima and I could make it to Buenos Aires -:D

Let’s make our bigger efforts to get together on both locations!!!

In the Scouting organization I also volunteer for,  “spark plug” awards are for those who create the fire in others.  That is you!

I forwarded your blog as well as Ignacio’s to our site teams in your respective countries, and am working on promoting these events through ASUG channels.

[Babelfish helps me say] ¡Buena suerte, amigos!
