SAP NetWeaver Identity Management (Idm) is an exciting new solution from SAP which allows customers to provision identities, roles and role assignments across SAP and non-SAP based solutions. SAP Teched attendants can visit session SIM101 "SAP NetWeaver Identity Management – Today and the Future" and SIM206 "SAP NetWeaver Identity Management in Action". SIM206 is a 2 hour lecture on the recently released SAP NetWeaver Identity Management solution. The session will cover an overview of the solution, common scenario's, and a number of demo's.
SIM206 - SAP NetWeaver Identity Management in Action
This session will focus on providing information on the recently released SAP NetWeaver Identity Management product . Multiple scenarios will be presented on how customers can utilize SAP NetWeaver Identity Management which consists of the Identity Center and the Virtual Directory Server. We will talk about user and role provisioning in an SAP-centric architecture including a variety of SAP products and SAP NetWeaver usage types. A demo will be presented to showcase selected scenarios.
