IMPORTANT DISTINCTIONS TO MEET YOUR CUSTOMER’S REQUIREMENTS

LSMW varies the import method based on the legacy application, while ADM provides only direct data insertion in order to minimize system downtime.

ADM includes historical and transactional data, while LSMW primarily covers master data only.

LSMW makes better sense for small data volumes, whereas ADM supports larger migrations.

ADM uses only on Interface the SAP Intermedite Interface "SII" whereas LSWM user have to deal with IDOC's BAPI's etc. to run their batch input processe
