Its 8 days before Community Day Las Vegas and the excitement is definitely mounting...
For those of you who are watching the countdown like me (Countdown to SAP TechED... is awesome isn't it??) it's fast approaching and its time for preparations. As part of mine I headed to the wiki to check out who else will be at Community Day and SAP TechEd '07 Las Vegas. Of course I was especially interested in checking out their profiles because of the The TechEd 2007 Profile Contest.
Those that added the tiny label "teched_us_07" on their page made me really happy - like Ed Hermann (whom I'm looking forward to meeting again there!) but I was surprised to find only 17 people did so. Now I know a lot more people are coming so why aren't you adding the tiny label to your profile? It only takes a second and not only will you be eligible for 200 points and a prize (for the contest winner of each location) but you're enabling other attendees to learn that you'll be there too so you know who to be on the lookout for - networking is part of the action, no? For example checking out the profiles with the teched_us_07 labels shows me that Santosh V will be attending and I'm looking forward to meeting him and also grilling him a bit about SAP's new product SAP Business ByDesign.
SAP TechEd '07 Munich is right around the corner and there are only 16 entries at the moment too with the little label "teched_emea_07".
I'm happy to say that SAP TechEd '07 Bangalore which is still more than a month and a half away, already has 19 profiles with the label "teched_india_07". This gives me hope that Community Day and why does Bangalore not want one? will be met regarding Bangalore's BoF sessions.
So add the relevant labels to your profile and don't forget the Community Day ones:
