In this weblog i am going to discuss the session EPI150:Providing and Consuming Enterprise Services in ABAP, briefly that i will be covering this year at Teched, Las Vegas.
EPI150: Providing and Consuming Enterprise Services in ABAP, Hands On-4hrs.
As a result of this workshop, you will be able to understand the concept of enterprise services and enterprise SOA at SAP, explain the web service paradigm and name the relevant tools, understand how to create an enterprise service and understand how to consume a web service.
I will start with the topic: Enterprise Services @ SAP, the difference between a Web Service and an Enterprise Service. Then I will discuss about how to create an Enterprise Service as a provider using the new Enterprise Service Repositry tools, and later how to consume the provider service via a client application designed in a ABAP. Then, i will discuss how to Publish a enterprise service to a UDDI-3.0 registry.
The hands on session exercise will cover a step by step process of the above mentioned topics in detail using SAP Netweaver Process Integration 7.1 tools.
