I cannot believe it is already two weeks ago that we had 615 people signup for the “Evolving Role of the Business Process Expert” webcast that we did together with a customer ( Wyeth Pharma ) and ASUG. I was pretty proud to hear that this was a new ASUG record, since it was my first time collaborating with them. So many people registered that we had to close down registration due to exceeding webex capacity.

Becuase of the high number of participants the Webex performance was brutal …but our presenters did an outstanding job of working through this. We had in the end 400 people signed on and webex crawled. I had great reports from participants in spite of this, and we will be sharing some results of the survey we did with our community soon. To listen to the webcast:

As a result we hope to launch many more ASUG webcast series soon focused on the Business Process Expert. (role, education, organization, how to’s, etc) The ASUG board and our community team is thinking of :

– BPX Regional Events ….face to face for the BPX Communities ….where ASUG chapters meet

Perhaps a future preconfernce “Business Process Expert Bootcamp”

Dedicated BPX& SDN- ASUG community evangelists

And we currently are brainstorming further on other future engagements. Please let me know if you have any suggestions around these topics and I am more than happy to spar with all of you!

We already will be doing lots of stuff with ASUG at  TechEd community day, and currently the team is in full force preparations for making this a great and valuable happening. Everyone who is interested should read Marilyn’s blog: True Confessions – A Love Affair with ASUG and the SAP TechEd Addiction
