Craigs Blog :

Community Day and why does Bangalore not want one?

So do we not want a Community Day here at Bangalore ? Apparently if you look at the sessions proposed at :

  • Comunity Day Las Vegas : 32 BOF Sessions
  • Community Day Munich : 26 BOF Sessions

And Community Day Bangalore : 8 Sessions (???!!!) out of which one is Mark’s and the other is Craig’s and yes I am at fault as well as I did not include a session myself.

But following Craig’s Blog I have and I think you should too !

Community Day is OUR Day and if we do not contribute to it’s success what will ?

I trust everyone will have their own reason for not contributing a BOF session but unless you are not attending community day or are going to specifically fall ill on that particular day I see no reason for you to have a reason for not contributing a session.

And if the list of BOF sessions for Munich and Vegas is not enough to give you the required push I dunno what will.

I rest my case.

Just before I was about to post this Blog I noticed this comment on one of Bangalore SDN Day posted just a couple of minutes ago :

Well doing INDIA in SAP

Excellent Milestone :
Hats off to SAP SDN Indian Participators

Participators ??? 66 out of 100 last year. And this year ? Only time will tell ! But if the number of BOF sessions are any indications of things then they are not looking pretty bright for us at the moment !

Last year we only invited 100 people to Bangalore community day (was then: SDN Day) so it was special and exclusive.  This year we plan to invite and welcome many more.  Although there weren’t alot of people in attendance, the discussions were fantastic and we met many great people.  We hope you’ll plan to join us if you’ll be at Bangalore TechEd.  More details to come on how to register to attend.  See you in November.
