In many cases, you may want to deploy your Xcelsius dashboard outside of BOE: On an intranet site or portal environment. Assuming you are still using the Eneterprise platform for connectivity, you may require a cross domain policy file. By default, the Flash player will not acess data from a different domain.
Symptoms leading you down the path to requiring the cross domain policy file: A dashboard that works correctly on your local machine but not in a web or portal environment. To resolve this issue can create a cross domain policy as follows:
1. Create an XML file (you can use notepad if you like) and name the file: crossdomain.xml
