Starship Enterprisey lifts off with Thomas Jung and ABAP

Thomas Otter and Craig Cmehil have started a new podcast series called Starship Enterprisey Radio. It’s really good stuff and definitely worth subscribing to:

Starship Enterprisey Radio, a podcast series started in May of 2007 by Thomas Otter and Craig Cmehil from the center of the enterprise universe – Walldorf, Germany to talk about software, technology and processes in the enterprise.

This week’s episode was great as they did a phone interview with Thomas Jung titled I Love ABAP. This is the perfect compliment to the release of the new Next Generation ABAP Development Book book written by Thomas and Rich Heilman. I respect these guys very much, and to me, Thomas is to SDN and ABAP as Dave Thomas is to Ruby and as Joel Spolsky is to the μISV. I am constantly impressed by his vast and broad amount of knowledge on both technology and business. As for Rich, he is just incredible. I am still convinced that he gets more hours in a day than the rest of us. Congrats to both of these guys on the new book, which I am sure will soon become a must have for any serious ABAPer.

    Greetings,

    Blag.

  • This particular episode has had 111 its already making it by far our most listened to episode and all started happening after this post. Thanks for spreading the link love!
    • We have the “Community Update” which is our radio show but anyone else is welcome to start one as well 🙂

We are certainly now as “regular” as we should be but next week we have a special guest on the show – and quite possible a second episode next week with another special guest 🙂

I gotta be careful too many “shows” and I’ll forget which one I am doing (3 podcasts are a bit much at the moment I think but I’ll stay with it for now I think.)
