Every Vote for SAP TechEd Sessions Counts … Especially Yours

Have you voted for your favorite SDN and BPX Community sessions for SAP TechEd ’07 yet? Many thanks to the over 1500 people who have voted, but I know a community approaching a million members can do better than that. The deadline to vote has been extended, so please submit your votes by Sunday, 10 June. SDN and BPX Community sessions at SAP TechEd represent the people’s choice because they are selected by the community’s popular vote. We need as many voters as possible to ensure that the winning sessions really represent the whole community. … to choose just 10 SDN and 5 BPX from that list of interesting topics, people, and companies, but I submitted my vote. Maybe some of those that are really interesting and that come from our most active community members (i.e., those with the most SDN or BPX points) can be featured on our Community Day just prior to the official opening of TechEd in each location. (I can’t believe that I just got home from SAPPHIRE a couple hours ago, and I’m already getting excited about traveling again to TechEd…)

maybe slightly off topic but I couldn’t access the sesson list and voting since yesterday, even with IE. Seems the service is down.

  Sorry, we are experiencing technical difficulties with the voting pages. Our IT team has been working towards a solution, but in the meantime, the voting links have been unstable. I will reply back to this post once the issue is resolved and the voting pages are stable again.

Please try voting now. The technical problem we had last week seems to be resolved, and we will extend the voting to end of day June 10 to make up for lost time. Thanks to everyone for their patience while we worked out some hardware problems triggered by a power outage.

  Could you try again? It seems to be working for others. If you are not already logged in to SDN, you’ll have to log in before you can continue to the voting page. If you still have trouble accessing the page, please send an email to saptechedinfo.americas@sap.com describing in more detail what you are experiencing (error message, screen shot).
