Creation of proxy object This blog showcases building of proxy object in MI talking to non-SAP backend where proxy class would consume the webservice defined on non-SAP backend for their respective application and generation of an active proxy object for the same in MI middleware.  Given here are the steps to create proxy object.  1. Go to SE80, Choose local objects. Right click on Enterprise service, choose proxy object. 2. Select local file and press ok. 3. Select PERSON.xml file downloaded from Introduction     blogand press open. 4. Enter Package as $tmp and Prefix as ZA. 5. Click OK for this object creation. 6. Continue clicking OK until you are in the below page. 7. Press save button. 8. Continue clicking OK until you get DATA SAVED message 9. Now press activate button to active proxy.    If you get warning message, Simply ignore it. Finally     the proxy is activated as shown below. *****************************************************  Proxy object is ready.  The next blog "Approach to mobilise non-SAP application using SAP MI - Step 2 : Creation of logical port" explains the creation of logical port for the proxy object.  ******************************************************
