The goal of this blog is to request participation in an online survey to gather feedback from SAP customers and partners who either use NWA for administration, monitoring, and configuration tasks or have evaluated NWA and decided to use other available tools. The feedback is requested by the SAP Development organization that decides on which functions will be included in NWA, so your feedback goes directly to SAP Development. For each completed section in the survey up to 10 SDN points will be awarded after the survey closes. Since there are 5 sections, there is a 50 point maximum per respondent. Each participant can only take the survey once and the quality and relevance of the answers (especially to the open/essay type questions) are a factor when awarding the points, so reflect on your company needs when filling out the survey, we are looking for quality feedback!  As a result of this survey we hope to gather a prioritized list of requested functions that NWA should contain in the eyes of SAP customers and partners. The target group for this survey is SAP NetWeaver AS Java administrators.  Currently we see the following main functional areas in NWA, which are reflected in the survey: 1. Administration - to stop/start SAP systems and application services, as well as performing user administration tasks 2. Monitoring - to monitor availability, central reports, java system reports, and logs and traces 3. Configuration - to make changes to configuration settings in application modules, application resources, virtual hosts, logon groups, system properties, log configuration, and J2EE configuration browser. 4. Template Installer - for automated configuration of scenarios, available only for the local instance (local mode)  The survey is aimed at identifying the most important gaps to help customers improve lifecycle management tasks for SAP NetWeaver AS Java. We expect the survey to take about 15 minutes (there are 33 questions, mainly multiple choice). The top 5 identified gaps in the survey will be shared in a subsequent blog after the results are finalized.  We really look forward to hearing from our customers. The survey may be accessed here... Please note that the survey provider site will have a maintenance period scheduled from 6pm PST on May 25 until noon PST on May 26.  For more information on SAP NetWeaver Administrator:https://service.sap.com/nwahttp://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/7e/c82c42be6fde2ce10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
