The details mentioned here are for Mobile Sales 4.0. Some of these settings are also valid for 5.0.

In the Marketing -> Details tile of Mobile Sales application, we can create a Campaign, Trade Promotion and Deal. This is maintained as Category field in the Details tile. The different Categories are maintained in the Choicefield OBJECTTYPE (in Mobile System Maintenance application). A Deal cannot be created or maintained in Mobile Client. But a Trade Promotion can be created from a Deal and the Deal from which the Trade Promotion has been created can be seen as a read-only field when viewing a Trade Promotion. It is also possible to copy a Campaign or Trade Promotion. Identification is a unique number used to identify the document.

For a Campaign, the Business Partners associated are always mentioned through Target Groups. So the Customer Type and Business Partner / Hierarchy Node fields are not visible for a Campaign whereas it will be visible for a Trade Promotion or a Deal. The Customer Type can be a Business Partner or a Hierarchy Node. These values are mainatined in the Choicefield CAMCUSTTYPE. If it is a Hierarchy Node, the Hierarchy Tree from which the Node can be selected is maintained at spro -> Customer Relationship Management -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> Basic Data -> Assign Customer Hierarchy Tree. If the Customer Type is changed from Hierarchy Node to Business Partner, a check is done whether the newly assigned Business Partner is assigned to the Hierarchy Node or a child node.

The Type field determines the type of Campaign or Trade Promotion. The Objective depends on the Type and the Tactic to be used depends on the Objective you want to achieve. The Objectives are maintained at spro -> Customer Relationship Management -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> Basic Data -> Define Objectives and the Tactics are maintained at spro -> Customer Relationship Management -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> Basic Data -> Define Tactics. The link between the Type, Objective and Tactics is maintained at spro -> Customer Relationship Management -> Marketing -> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> Basic Data -> Define Campaign Types/Objectives/Tactics.
