Many of you might now this but Mark is on vacation right now and I need your help while he’s gone to give him his Christmas present… image Now I know that not everyone celebrates this time of the year the same (if at all) but as I do and Mark does I’m trying to give him a present. Now this present is something that all of you have done for me each year, so I got off easy. It’s also a tradition on SDN (now BPX as well) and Mark will of course want to use his present to give back to all of you, just as he did Finally Best of SDN 2005 and the Best in the  SDN Lifetime (mainly 2004). Now there are a couple of main reasons Mark started doing this:

  • Let everyone know what has been happening
  • Make sure we get the feedback to implement changes
  • We are PROUD of all of you!

However, this year with today being the 22nd and only 9 days left in the year Re: Best Of 2006 … Mark started before going on vacation is still rather empty ๐Ÿ™ So this is a call out to everyone on SDN and BPX to jump in there and tell us their thoughts so when Mark returns from vacation in the new year he’ll have the best Christmas present that we could give him, our feedback (good and bad) so he can not only reflect on a the year, pull out the best but also start planing for 2007. The Stollen identity can only do so much alone.

Seriously, how about an email “chain-Christmas-card” where you send an email to an SDNer who forwards the email to an SDNer who forwards …

Unless the email gets too big (because of all the forwarded attachments), the first person to receive a forward on 12/25 sends it back to you and you send it to Mark.

But if each emailer just puts his or her name in the text, it shouldn’t happen.

Or – maybe you send out several “starters” to different people.

Oh yeah – if someone gets it twice, he or she just forwards it to someone else.
