    Hi Birla,

Once we configure the Email OR any other attribute from ADS to be used as Portal ID. How do you configure the SSO to backend systems. I belive then the user ID in the backend system should have the same format (email) otherwise authentication using logonticket will fail

How did you deal with this.

Vaib has made a very valid point here. The backend system has a limitation of 17 characters for id. Secondly, the sso to work between the portal and backend SAP system. How did you tackle this scenario ?

      Hi Sunil,

      Thanks for your query.
SSO will happen with UID(Which is uniquename ) and j_user is mapped with Email attribute.
SSO Logon Ticket will be generated for the uid and not for the j_user.

      Regards,
      Birla.
