Because Matt was the only attendee in the Contest it was an easy decision. A non SAP Developer wins the SDN Contest: SAP on Rails in a real Business Application! Matt Kent from RadRails with his SDN Contest: SAP on Rails in a real Business Application – Solution developed during SAP TechEd in Amsterdam. He wins this Siteco Vistosa task light:

…very informative blog. great that at least one (1) person’s knowledge improved.

anyway, congratulations matt for whatever made your solution outstanding in comparison with the solutions of the (unknown number) of the other contestants.

Congratulations to the other contestants (number unknown) for their contributions (of unknown content and quality).

Congratulations to the lamp aswell, which made it to be described in more detail than any of the solutions.

sorry, probably I am to narrow-minded to understand this.

I learned a lot as well at the Clubhouse there in AMS while Matt (who by the way had no clue about SAP at the beginning of the event) worked on it – it was quite cool to see all the interactions going on there and then to finally get the solution up so we can download it and take a look 🙂

      Hi Anton,

thank you for your comment. I’ve updated the blog with some more information about the number of contestants and also about our luminaire. Hope it helps.

      Regards
      Gregor
