Tracking SDN weblogs using Live Bookmark

With so many SDN/BPX blogs getting posted daily it has  became very difficult to keep track of each of them. To overcome this problem I am now using Firefox’s Live Bookmark feature.   “With Live Bookmarks, the content comes to you. Instead of constantly checking Web pages for changes and additions, a Live Bookmark delivers updates to you as soon as they are available”   A Live Bookmark called SAP NetWork Blogs (which is nothing but a RSS 1.0 feed provided by SDN) automatically keep track of all the updates over the SDN, using this now I am able to know when a new weblog has been added.  You can perform the following steps to use this.  1) Visit the SDN/BPX Weblog homepage using your Mozilla Firefox browser.  2) Click on the Add Live Bookmark icon on the address bar (which appears automatically as shown below).  image 3) SAP NetWork Blogs button should now appear in the your Firefox Bookmarks toolbar (as shown below) image 4) To check the updates click SAP NetWork Blogs in your Firefox Bookmarks toolbar to scan the latest blog titles from SDN. Find a blog that looks interesting, and select it to directly jump to the corresponding weblog.  image

as said in my web log (Waiting for the sirens’ call), I don't see that much difference with a (plain) RSS reader.

Nice bit of integration and saves the need for that additional app - nice blog Tarun!
