The coolest way to have the SDN in your desktop

There are a lot of things happening, a lot of new information, notes, forum reviews and weblogs. We can access all of these things in a new and funny way. Try a widget!.  Here, the easy steps to install it and enjoy it.  1. Download the Yahoo Widget Engine .  2. Download the MultiNewsReader widget created by Gair Heaton from the yahoo gallery.  3. Open the widget.  4. Get the feed url from your favourite place at SDN. ( you can get it going to the url from the rss icon  image or the url from the RSS feed for Weblogs… link). image 5. Set the new entry for your favourite place on the widget. Click (+) button, at left bottom corner, set the feed url, description, number of items and refresh interval. imageimage 6. Chose your favourite skin. Click right button over the widget, select widget preferences, windows, theme…brushed metal or black and white.  7. Press ctrl + left button to move the widget on your desktop.  8. At your time click the item on the widget an go to that selected topic at SDN!. imageimage

      Thanks for the very useful tip. However, when I click on the topic in the widget it does not take me to the URL. Help would be appreciated.

      THe RSS URL in that topic area is really the RSS feed just when loaded in a browser it looks "readable"
