Ahhh what a feeling, life is starting to finally slow down a bit and I’m able to relax. Not everyone else though, Marilyn has been slammed all day so far in the BPX area the excitement there is unbelievable! So it’s hard for me to add anything more to all the great blogs already out there on the SDN Day

As you can see everyone beat me to writing about it but that’s actually AWESOME! I love seeing how excited everyone was and the photos were taken…oh man what can I say? OK so I’m beginning to ramble here and that is definetly a sign of the excitment going on here so let me just summarize some of the elements that took place during the SDN that were very “key” to me. Now this is not to say that everything was not key to me but there were a couple of items I really went out on the edge to bring to the SDN Day. When taking a chance on those, well that meant a little bit more to me mainly because I think I would have gotten in big trouble if they were not a good thing 😉 So the first was having the guys from ZOHO here and of course the question often came up, similar to the one I got at the Office 2.0 conference and that is “Why are they here?” that I will actually explain in greater detail at another time; another was the SDN Day: Panel Discussion “Innovation and Technology” which was a little bit of a controversy but turned into an excellent session! Now for me those two items which really were not focused on SAP as everything were pretty key for me, well for the fact that they were not SAP focused and therefore took some explaining. I think though that everyone there at the day understood after talking with the ZOHO guys and those attending the panel. I’ve heard lots of excellent feedback as well as asking if we can open it up to more than just the invitation only. This of course was odd because out of 99 (106 including the team) only 53 showed up which was rather disappointing for me as I was hoping for a bigger turn out. So what can we do next year to increase attendance? All in all it was a great time and everyone had fun and got to learn lots and meet new people. The fun is not over yet though, tonight the 9th of November in the evening we are going to a really cool restaurant, SAHIB SINDH SULTAN @ The Forum Mall – 8:00 PM, please let us know if you want to attend so we can make sure we have a reservation.

So for those of you that made it to the restaurant and were not able to find us I want to apologize!

We left the convention center in what we thought would be perfect time, after a 45 minute wait for our ride to the hotel (it’s a 10 minute walk but we had bags and boxes) then getting to the hotel and first being told it would be 5 minutes for the car then finding out it would be an hour plus an additional 2 hours at least in traffic we simply could not bring ourselves to do it 🙁

Had it not been for the 1 hour wait I would have braved it but with the hour wait and the 2 hour traffic time I simply did not think it was worth it to keep all of you there waiting :-(( I called ahead and say I would not be there I hope that everyone had a good time anyway and we’ll have to make up for it with fun tomorrow on the last day!!
