On Friday, Oct 27th, the first CAF-Meet-the-expert session took place. It was the kick-off of a new session series that offers different CAF (Composite Application Framework) related topics presented to the SDN community. The first session consists of a general introduction into CAF and presents a typical, but simple Composite as a base for this session series. This typical Composite is the 'Training Cancellation Process'.
You can now download the summary that is a ZIP-file (link see below). The file contains the following components:
- A PPT (approx. 30 slides). The slides explain the CAF basics and the 'Training Cancellation Process' example.
- A screencam showing the example. It shows this typical Composite 'Training Cancellation Process' in runtime i.e. 'in action'.
- Two further screencams for modelling and implementation. They explicate the efficient and easy way how CAF supports the modelling and implementation of this simple 'Training Cancellation Process'.
You need approx. 30 minutes to go through all the stuff, and - one more hint - this 1st CAF-Meet-the-expert session is a good pre-requisite for taking part at the 2nd session (however knowing the 1st session summary is not absolutely necessary but recommended).
The 2nd CAF-Meet-the-expert session will take place on Tuesday, Nov 14th, 5 p.m. Walldorf time, with the topic 'CAF Methodology for PM'. You're kindly invited to take part. Registration link will follow in the next days - stay tuned!.
