I created an Extension for Firefox called SapLogon tool, this extension reads the saplogon.ini file and creates a menu item to access each system.   SapLogon tool is available within mozilla web site at the URL you see at the top of this blog.  Just after installing and restarting you will find an interesting new item in the Tools menu: image It was never so easy to logon to SAP Systems and to jump into the different component of SAP XI.  My extension analyzes the saplogon.ini file of the SAPgui and creates an item for each system.  Note that: – a menu separator can be generated writing the string “===” in the description – if the Description contains the string “XI”, a submenu with a lot of useful links to j2ee stack of Exchange Infrastructure will be generated

    Nice job Riccardo!!!!
It will be nice to extend the plugin also to more generalistic J2EE pages.
It could search for “WAS” string in the saplogon definition and give access to the webdynpro content administrator, user management and so on…

    Regards
    Fabio

      Hy Gregor,
I’m sorry but the new version is not yet available for download.

I fixed this problem, but You have to wait for next release; I think in few days Firefox will release the new version.

Or if you want to send me your e-mail I can sent to you the new version.

      Thanks,
      Riccardo.

    Hi Riccardo,

I tried the install and it appears under the tools menu. Also my list of systems from saplogon is shown as a sub-menu, however nothing happens when I select a system. I am useing Firefox 2.0

    regards,
    Kevin

Thanks a million Riccardo for the update you sent by mail, It works like a charm.

I  noticed however that  it  does not work with “Logon Groups” I get an error that says

      Error starting ‘/H/CENTRAL (FI/CO,PS)/S/3200 (rc=-2)

However this is one add-on that I really, really like.

      regards,
      Kevin
