It’s odd what pops up in oyur RSS reader on occasion. This one popped up this morning as I am sitting here at the airport.

This tool reads the saplogon.ini information and creates links to all Sap Systems to launch via SAP GUI or, for XI systems, to open useful pages via Web Browser

Anyone know the author, Riccardo Miggiano? Why are they not hear on SDN? Anyone tried it yet?

    Hi I’m Riccardo Miggiano,
    I can’t post th epubblication of this tool in SDN because I’m not yet an authorized blogger.

    I will post all detail and features as soon as possible.

    But the tool read the saplogon.ini and compose the links menu to launch the sapgui application from Firefox. For system defined as XI it compose all links ti useful functions of J2ee stack.

    1. I just installed it, and it does give a list of items in my saplogon, but does nothing when I click them.
      Anything I am overlooking?

      1. error message is :
        Error: uncaught exception: [Exception… “Component returned failure code: 0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND) [nsIProcess.init]”  nsresult: “0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)”  location: “JS frame :: chrome://saplogon/content/overlay.js :: onLaunch :: line 38”  data: no]

    Someone had a look at XI Quick Launcher?
    The specified item was not found.
    It was only working in MSIE til a couple of weeks ago, then I released a Firefox working version.

    The SAPLOGON luncher seems to not work if a system into saplogon.ini have the field SAPROUTER STRING not Empty.

    So if you have a system outside your LAN (or in any case you have to use a saprouter string) the Extension DO NOT WORK…
    Any Idea to solve this??
