As you may know, with MaxDB (the former SAPDB), SAP began first steps in the OpenSource direction. I’m glad that SAP is recognizing now also scripting languages, and I’m especially happy about their work regarding PHP.  In the blog entry that I have linked (at our corporate blog) I talk about my experience on SDN Day and also link to our slides (which you can also find at here ).  As this is my first post here at SDN, I want to know from you: what is your experience with PHP? Did you ever have developed with PHP? Are you interested in PHP in general? Do you want to know how to connect to SAP with PHP through Netweaver/XI?

Welcome! Great to have you on board. I do a lot of work with PHP but none of it yet with SAP. I am also a member of PHPLondon (http://phplondon.org)

Thanx for that Nigel -:D And your right -;)

Welcome on board Björn!!! It nice to have another colleague here! I’ve been working with PHP since the last 2 years…I also have written 7 blogs regarding integration between PHP and SAP called “Tasting the mix of PHP”…You can read them here http://tinyurl.com/jnlfd Also, I’m working on Ruby and Rails, so Scripting Languages are some sort of my passion here on SDN.

I just read your blog, nice! -;) I was also invited to the SDN Day…But I could make it -:'( Craig and Gregor always remember that -:P

Welcome again, and if you need anything, I’m always willing to help -;)

      Greetings,

      Blag.

Great to have you board Björn – if I understand correctly SAP/SDN might be taking part in the International PHP conference in Frankfurt as well? Perhaps Andre will pop in with an update for everyone!

Would love to go but I will in Bangalore, India at the time for SDN Day and TechEd.

    Craig
