Only one and a half weeks left, but still enough time to register for SDN day in Amsterdam on October 17. I already attended SDN Day in Las Vegas and it was a SDN Day was great!!!! to meet fellow SDN’ers and collaborate on new ideas or get questions answered by the experts. Even if you cannot make it to TechEd, you can still just attend SDN day.

Since the Adobe Flex hands-on sessions in Las Vegas were very popular we decided to repeat them at SDN day in Amsterdam. I have signed up Enrique Duvos, our Flex wizard in Europe, to conduct a 2 hour hands-on session at SDN day. Make sure you bring your laptop and we will install together Adobe Flex Builder and then create a small Rich Internet Application, with dynamic data grids and other Flash/Flex features, which connects to an ABAP server. After the workshop you will be ready to develop your own Flex applications and impress your colleagues. With that knowledge you even might find yourself next year as one of the presenters in the SAP TechEd SAP Network TV – the WHOLE Demo Jam. Here is a little video example of a customer support application developed in Flex and connecting to SAP.

But thats not all. We also have great content around SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe for you. Les Woolsey, the Interactive Forms godfather and architect, will be there to discuss with you performance optimization tips and tricks. Juergen Hauser, who is the Adobe resident in Building 3 at SAP in Walldorf, will talk about his experience in working with SAP application teams on implementing interactive PDF forms. Les and Juergen will team up to talk about best practices when designing forms with the Adobe LiveCycle Designer in SAP.

And finally you certainly do not want to miss the evening event at an “boom” Amsterdam!. We had a lot of fun (and beers) at the Hofbraeuhaus in Las Vegas, but I am sure the party will be even better in Amsterdam. All my fellow European SDN’ers please do not disappoint me… We need to show the Americans what a real party is!

Enough said, see you in Amsterdam!
