Are you a developer who wants to get their feet wet in the SAP NetWeaver Master Data Management environment? If so their is a hands-on session at TechEd, DU251-Update on SAP NetWeaver Master Data Management APIs, that you should certainly check out. This session provides a brief introduction to the SAP NetWeaver Master Data Management (SAP NetWeaver MDM) APIs for Java and COM and ABAP for developers who wish to build applications that interface with SAP NetWeaver MDM repositories. Times: Wed, 1:45 p.m.–3:45 p.m., 4401A/B Fri, 8:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m., 4401A/B In the workshop, you’ll learn how to access SAP NetWeaver MDM from your own Java coding in order to develop tailored master data solutions. We also plan to post the projects from the workshop on SDN after TechEd. We will post the link to the Java Project within this weblog once it is available. Although the focus of the hands-on part of the session is a Java Project, we will also give you the first look at the new MDM ABAP APIs including a sizable appendix on the API in the printed hand-out materials. If you are interested in the topic of development with MDM, you might also want to stop by the SDN Days Session – MDM Developer’s Roundtable. We will be discussing all of the APIs. If you have some experience with the APIs, come and share your feelings about it.
