SDN in the Press

It seems that each day brings a new surprise for the SDN Team, and today was no exception. We received a mail today asking if we had seen this recent article in the paper. Since I don’t get this paper nor do I subscribe to their website I had not nor had anyone else, but luckily many of our friends in the community do and so we had the pleasure of reading it as well.

Bangalore, Aug. 23 (PTI): Wipro Technologies, the global IT services business of Wipro Limited, today said it has become the first company globally to cross 100,000 points on the SAP Developer Network (SDN).  “SDN enables SAP’s technical community to obtain and share the latest knowledge and information about SAP NetWeaver, Enterprise Service Oriented Architecture (Enterprise SOA), and SAP platform, products, and technologies,” according to a Wipro statement.  “Various features on SDN – from articles and whitepapers to online demos and eLearning, to discussion forums and blogs – promote innovation, the sharing of creative ideas and the application of SAP technology, new concepts, and implementation solutions on SAP NetWeaver and related topics”, the release added.

– From Wipro becomes first firm globally to cross lakh points on SDN If anyone else comes across things like this please let us know so we can share them with the rest of hte community, or become a Community Reporter yourself!

No one should say you don't learn anything on SDN 😉

      Congratulations Wipro, Mark.

Thanks a mio. Truly, this is about the growing popularity of SDN and BPX in this part of the world. And more important than organizations, it is the community build-up sprit that is of prime importance to many.
