Hello all you business process experts out there. Las Vegas is right around the corner and we have a great line up of exciting sessions for all of you!  This year at all three TechEd’s Las Vegas, Amsterdam and Bangalore we have an array of Visual Composer sessions to demonstrate the exciting capabilities of the SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer… Amir Rubin created a fantastic Get your “hands-on” Visual Composer @ SAP TechEd ’06!! regarding these great sessions as well.   Here is some additional detail! 1/ CD151 –  Creating Flexible Business Applications Using SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer This is our beginner session and in this session we will be taking the newbee through how to use the tool for the first time. This session is targeted at the first time user and will be extremely exercise-centric to get everyone comfortable with using this fantastic tool. We will:        •     Create a SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer model      •     Introduce you to the design-time environment of the SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer      •     Show you how to consume Data Services      •     Build analytic applications!! 2/ CD254 – Creating Advanced Flexible Business Applications Using SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer This is the advanced Visual Composer session. This session will build off of the beginner session and expects some level of Visual Composer knowledge. In this session we will cover topics such as:        •     Web Service Creation and Consumption      •     Advanced usage of UI Elements (Guard Conditions, Visibility Conditions)      •     SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer and BEx Web Application Designer integration      •     Portal Eventing 3/ BIM251 – Modeling Embedded SAP NetWeaver BI Applications with SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer This session will focus on the BI Kit integration with the SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer and how you can leverage the Business Intelligence functionality available to model BI-centric analytic applications pulling information from both your SAP BI and non-SAP BI systems.       •     Learn about the BI Connectors and each of their respective functionalities      •     Get to know the ins and outs of the BI Integration Wizard      •     Integrate BI based data services with non-BI data services      •     Create Embedded BI Applications with the SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer!  These sessions are full of great information and enthusiastic presenters ;)… I hope to see everyone there.       Although I’m no SME, I do see that there are very interesting conversations evolving around the use of these tools in the context of work that a Business Process Expert performs.
      I recommend keeping posted to conversations in the Analytics Forum for example, to see if such a tool support functionality that makes your working life easier.  There are some debates that you might find interesting.  Also, our own, Mario Herger, who has a great knowledge of VC and BI should be writing a blog shortly about VC.  So keep posted.
